Airsoft AGM gas blow back M4 review

This is airsoft AGM gas blow back M4 . It is a most popular airsoft guns in the market now, it is selling like "hot cakes". Because of this is the 1st China made airsoft gas gun,

many user complained most of the time once finished shooting the bb's the chamber wouldn't lock automatically and it will continue firing until the the gas empty....


need to repair this before wasting more gas....









the solve the problems, firstly
open this chamber safety lock


warning: becareful opening chamber lock as there will a very small spring inside, u might don't want to lost it...











due to this spring guide is too long, there's not enough "energy" to push the spring up, have to scrape off head part in order to make the head flat. Warning: DO NOT scrape too much !












add 2 rings inside

there's 1 small piece of metal between the chamber and piston, although it is made from metal but after 4 to 5 mags of shooting the metal will change it's shape
















of cos you can buy it from online or airsoft retail shop, but fixing is cheaper than buying.















notice there's a pin beside the piston, few mags shooting it will change shape.

















put in the cylinder into the upper receiver ( notice the red circle )
the pin fit in perfectly.

































scrape the pin flat enough, then use some glue or epoxy to fill up the spoiled area and it will be perfect.














let see what happened to GBB with only 380-400 fps since the AEG's also about the same fps.

must be some part can be improve to max fps.


open the "c" clip at start









unlock the clip beside the cylinder. and pull forward the piston out.
































see the square hole where the gas was 'pump' in , notice there is a spring inside, this is where the gas was compress and release














continue opening the piston, there is a small clip at the back of the piston, open it and it will release whole things















the internal parts is almost same size the WA GBB















AGM mag look like copied WA mag, it suppose can be use at WA, GP and INO brand.



some of the owner said, the mag always leaking once it leaks all the gas will be gone, in this case you can see there's a triangle shape lock beside, just press down and it will shut the gas off. And you can refill your gas.

this gun has fired less than 10 mags, the hammer is started to scratch , it should be full metal.

after taking off all the internal parts, the lower receiver is lighter than BOYI 3981















the back stock support cannot be use in AEG's, totally difference thing.
















compared AGM and BOYI 3981 lower receiver, 3981 is longer at rare side.

it's now open up all the parts, delta ring is almost the same with AEG's
















open up the d-ring, pull out the hop up. and check out the hop up system.
















becareful when opening the hop up chamber, there is a very small spring inside.













surprise ! inside the hop up chamber the hop up has be taped with white tape, it's taped by factory? taped also useless?














the inner barrel is look a like airsoft pistol GBB.
















look inside the hop up chamber, what the...! there's a hole here ( red circle )
don't know the purpose of the hole but it guarantee will make the fps go down.































lastly, see the difference of AGM and AEG outer barrel

















finally this is the complete review of AGM GBB M4, i personally comment this airsoft is not perfect yet can be improve. Firing a single shot still in good condition but not in auto mode cos some bb's will fall out. The blow back still considered acceptable, it is like a women punching at you.

The internal parts is not reliable , can't imagine what it's look like after firing 10 to 50 mags...

But luckily the price of this China made GBB still cheap in the market, it's almost the same as AEG's price, it's only mean for collections or feeling the blow back, the mag can be share with other brand GBB, i.e. WA

If you think, this airsoft gun can be use in "battlefield", u might have to think the reliable again.
the quality is not good compared with AEG's.
